Registrations for our junior cricket teams and Woolworths Cricket Blast program are now open.

Our club offers a fun and welcoming environment for junior cricketers to make friends, learn the skills of the sport, and experience the thrill of making runs and taking wickets.

We will be fielding girls’ and boys’ teams across all age groups, starting at under-11s for boys and under-12s for girls.

Our successful Woolworths Cricket Blast program offers a fantastic introduction to the game for girls and boys aged 5-9.

Woolworths Cricket Blast

Duration: Eight weeks, running on Thursday nights 5pm-5.50pm, starting in November.

Dates:
Term 4, 2025: 13 Nov, 20 Nov, 27 Nov, 4 Dec, 11 Dec;
Term 1, 2026: 12 Feb, 19 Feb, 26 Feb (reserve night 5 Feb).

New venue this season: Quay Reserve (2 Quay Blvd, Torquay)

Cost: $80, includes Cricket Blast pack

Uniform: there is no requirement to buy uniform. Your Cricket Blast pack includes a shirt.

Girls’ cricket

We welcome any girl interested in playing cricket, regardless of previous experience.

Teams: under-12 and under-18. (The under-18 division will be suitable for girls aged 13 to 17, with teams graded based on age, ability and playing experience.)

Training: Thursdays 4.15pm-5.15pm. All training is at Spring Creek Reserve, Torquay.

Matches: Sunday mornings. Please download the PlayCricket app and follow ‘Torquay Cricket Club’ for fixtures. Home games are at Quay Reserve, Torquay.

Boys’ cricket

Teams: under-11, under-13, under-15, under-17.

Matchdays: Friday evening - u11s and u13s (Div 2); Saturday morning - u13s (Div 1 & 2), u15s, u17s.

Please download the PlayCricket app and follow ‘Torquay Cricket Club’ for fixtures. Home games will be played across Quay Reserve, Grenville Oval and Polwarth Oval, Torquay.

Training: u11s - Wed 4.30pm; u13s - Tues 4.30pm; u15s and u17s - Thurs 5pm. All training is at Spring Creek Reserve, Torquay.

Uniforms: are not included with registration. 

All boys' teams wear white pants, with u11s and u13s wearing a coloured club shirt, and u15s and u17s wearing white club shirts. Please email torquaytigerscc@gmail.com if you require uniform.

We aim to make our fees as affordable as possible because we don’t want cost to be a barrier to junior participation.
